Staff Biographies
Liz Wilmot is a graduate of Sheffield
University in England. She has been in the animal care field since
1986 first working
in and then managing a large boarding establishment. She took over
Countryside kennels with her daughter in April 1994 and has continued
to educate herself in the animal care field. She currently holds the
American Boarding Kennels Association Pet Care Technician and Advanced
Pet Care Technician certificates and is active in the organization.
She
is Regional Director of ABKA Region 2 which covers Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
Has acted as moderator
at round table discussions and was selected to serve on a panel of
experts at a regional meeting. She also attends the national ABKA
conventions yearly and attends seminars as often as possible, She
attended a class
and obtained a certificate in Animal CPR. She also presented a kennel
profile at the 2002 regional meeting of ABKA.
Angie Montgomery has been in the pet care field since 1987. She attended
the Nash Academy of Animal Arts and was awarded a certificate of excellence
in Pet Grooming. Angie is also the holder of the Pet Care Technician
Certificate and attends seminars on a regular basis both at the regional
and national level. She is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of
animal care and supervises the grooming and kennel staff as well as
participating in all areas of animal care on a daily basis. Angie
is the one that everyone calls on if there is a problem dog or cat
that the staff cannot handle. She works tirelessly to assure that
all pets are well taken care of and is extremely aware of the little
things such as making sure all dogs have bedding every evening or
that the geriatric dogs get late exercise, extra bedding and are treated
at all times with TLC
